Madonna has released a new behind-the-scenes video documenting her historic free concert in Rio de Janeiro last year. The show, held on Copacabana Beach in May, marked the grand finale of her Celebration World Tour, which honoured her 40-year career in music.

The event broke records as the largest stand-alone concert in history, drawing an estimated 1.6 million fans to the beach—surpassing The Rolling Stones’ previous record of 1.5 million at the same location 18 years earlier. It featured appearances from her own children as well as guests Anitta and Pablo Vittar.

The new video, released on Madonna’s official YouTube channel, features rehearsal footage and insights from her dancers, as well as commentary from the show’s MC, Bob the Drag Queen. It also highlights how the production was adapted from its original arena format to suit the outdoor setting and massive crowd, managing to feel even more epic while retaining the magic of the tour.
