Miley Cyrus has announced her ninth studio album due to release on 30th May.

‘Something Beautiful’ will be released via Columbia Records and feature 13 original tracks produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett. A film to accompany the album will be released in June directed by Miley, Jacob Bozeman and Brendan Walter with cinematography by Benoît Debie.

The album artwork has been revealed and gives a glimpse of Miley photographed by fashion photographer Glen Luchford wearing 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. The album era promises to be an audio visual experience as a further instagram post detailed that Miley will be showcased in a variety of archival pieces from Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier as well as custom pieces from Alexander McQueen and Alaïa.

As well as this, it has been announced that the album will be released in various formats including sea blue, clear and black vinyl variants.
